SNP blog train Early Spring

Who’s ready for spring?  I know we are at my house.  We’ve been enjoying the warm days outside playing with chalk, walking the dog to the beach, and playing outside with friends.  My husband and I have been doing some gardening, trying to finally tame the garden in front of our house.  We’ve lived here for 4 years now, but have been so busy trying to fix up the inside that the garden kind of got neglected.  Oh well, so now we’ve given up in the inside and are tackling the outside.

Kids Art SNP blog train

This month the theme for the SNP blog train is Kid Art and we all worked with a fun bright and cheerful palate of colors.  Recently my 3 year old painted our puppy Rudolph.  She painted our old dog Puck a few years back as well, so this kind of seems to be her thing!  Anyhow, once I saw her and our puppy covered in green paint I was inspired to go with a handprint and paint kind of kit.  I also threw in a few other fun crafty things as well 🙂

Winter Chirp SNP blog train freebie

I loved the colors for this month’s blog train at Scraps N Pieces, they were just perfect for chilly winter days, although this past weekend here in Ohio was nearly 60!  That’s really uncommon for this part of the world where we are right in the snow belt.  But it was a nice to have some springy weather for a few days. 🙂

Fall Harvest Blog Train

I had so much fun with the SNP blog train this month and wound up making a pretty large kit with the colors and theme.  If you were a part of my speed scrap last Tuesday you got the first part of the kit (featuring apples).  Today I’m offering here the pumpkin and corn portion of the kit.

And one by me of Fiona a few years back at a nearby wildlife center where we learned all about owls. She is wearing a headband that shows how owl ears are located unevenly on their heads. The two grape fruit are meant to show how large an owl’s eyes are in their heads.
