Once upon a time there was a kit, created for fairy tale princes and
princesses. Over the river and through the woods, it led to the land of
imagination. There, frogs were princes and horses drew carriages, and
dragons learned to fly. There were poisons and potions and a man in the
moon; a sword, a tiara, and a missing glass shoe. You could live in a
pumpkin, your neighbor a gnome, and you could talk with the trees in
your woodland home. Stuff of legend, you say? Not so! Wendy Tunison Designs has created this kit for you! By Fairest Blood is perfect for those who delight in
enchanted forests and bedtime stories. This Grimm-inspired collection
has just what you’ll need for creating your very own storybook pages.
The kit includes 125 unique elements, 38 background papers, and a
splendidly enchanted alpha set perfect for adding titles to your pages.
As if this isn’t enough, By Fairest Blood was created as part of a
collaboration with Busy Crafting Mommy Designs. Visit her shop and add even more unique elements, background papers, and a second alpha set to your stash. With all of the scrap magic you’ll discover in By Fairest Blood, you’re sure to be scrapping happily ever after!

Here are my three layouts:
The first one just uses pieces from my portion of the kit. I love the backyard at our house and it’s one of our favorite places to play, I feel like the girls can use so much imagination there. The first layout shows the girls playing in our fairy tree house (two pin trees that come together to make a sizable space underneath to play. We have it decorated with bead flowers I made, bells, and felt flowers as well. The second layout is just of the girls wandering through the trees in the backyard.
This last layout is from the Holden Arboretum, a great garden place near where we live. This was our first year trying their Halloween event. Each of the trick or treat stops was decorated with a different theme, from Dr. Seuss to various nursery rhymes. The girls loved the Cinderella themed set up the most of course! Fiona kept asking me when I was going to make a layout with the photo of the two of them in the carriage, and I told her I was working on a kit that would be perfect for it 🙂
Do you have plans for Black Friday? Well, SNP is having a store wide sale so be sure to stop in and pick up some awesome goodies!
